Be Lucky: The Culture of Chance Dec 17th 2011 to Jan 26th 2012

Please visit my installation Memory Web as part of Get Lucky: The Culture of Chance, a centennial birthday celebration of art icon John Cage, December 17, 2011 through January 26, 2012, at SOMArts Cultural Center, 934 Brannan St. (between 8th & 9th). A public opening reception will be held January 6, 6-9PM.

Get Lucky: The Culture of Chance, curated by Justin Hoover and Hanna Regev, provides a multimedia and multidimensional look at a vast array of fine art practices investigating the implications of chance operation in the arts and across cultural beliefs, values and practices.

Memory Web is an interactive music, sound, and video installation. It features an original large-scale stringed instrument created by David Molina and Garrett La Fever, with video art by Mickey Tachibana.
